The Gateway 4 berth motorhome is a large roomy motorhome designed for a family of four. It features seating for four at the front all in forward facing seats with full lap and diagonal seatbelts. Two of the seats have anchor points for fitting baby or child seats. This motor home has the largest toilet and shower cubicle you will find in a rental campervan and the beds are large as well. Our 4 berth motorhomes range between new and five years old and all are maintained in excellent condition.

Engine specifications: 2.8 litre turbo diesel.
Transmission: 5 speed manual.
Power equipment: Power steering, and power assisted ABS brakes.
Tyres: Tyre pressure should be checked regularly. The recommended pressures are 65psi for the front wheels and 65psi for the rear tyres.
Spare Tyre: The spare tyre is located under the rear of the vehicle. External access only.
Tools: The tool kit is located under the front passenger seat in the drivers cab.

DRIVING
Seating configuration: Seatbelts for two in the driving cab, with a double seat behind the driver complete with seat belts for two.
Airbags: Twin airbags, the passenger side airbag can be disengaged with the ignition key.
Radio/Stereo: Radio / CD player, speakers in driving cab.
12V Socket: cigarette lighter adapter which is suitable to charge up cell phones and camera batteries.
Fuel: Diesel, 68 litre tank/15 gallon.
Fuel consumption: Approximately 9km per litre or 25 miles per gallon. This actual consumption achieved does depend on how the vehicle is driven.
Air Conditioning: Standard Fiat air conditioning when driving.

LIVING
Sleeping Configuration: One double bed over the cab, 2.05 x 1.50m, one double bed at the rear of the motorhome, 2.15m x 1.40m. The bed over the cab has a safety net to prevent children falling out.
Fridge Freezer: The fridge operates on 12V whilst driving and on 240V mains when plugged in at a camp ground. The fridge will automatically switch over between the two electricity supplies. Fridge capacity 60 litres.
Gas cooker: 2 ring cooker with griller, ignited by match or gas lighter.
Gas bottle: A 9 kg gas bottle. The gas bottle is located in the exterior compartment on the passengers side of the vehicle. Bottle has an 'ON/OFF' tap on it. Please ensure it is in 'OFF' position when not in use and when driving.
Microwave: Operates on 240V power only, so the vehicle must be plugged into mains power to operate.
Water heater: Water heater works on gas or 240V power and is operated by internal switches. Water will be heated after approximately 15 minutes.
Fresh water tank: Capacity is 85 litre/19 gallon.
Bathroom facilities: Hot and cold pressurised water shower cubicle with separate hand basin.
Toilet: Located in cubicle with shower. Flush toilet waste goes into cassette holding tank which is accessed from exterior compartment door. Toilet is full of chemicals on pick-up of vehicle with a complimentary supply. Toilet cassette holding tank must be flushed out and empty on drop-off.
Grey water tank: Holding tank for grey waste water generated from the shower and kitchen sink. Disposable at all camping grounds and dump sites. Holds 85 litre/ 19 gallon grey water.
Power Supply: 240V mains and 12V battery. The 240V mains power operates when the exterior power cable is plugged in at a camp ground. There are two 12V batteries, one for starting the engine, and the other for domestic 12V system. This system includes water pump and lighting. Batteries are recharged by engine alternator when driving or from the mains power supply when plugged in at a camp ground.
Lighting: Interior lights operate both off 12V battery and 240V mains supply.
Heating: Rear cabin air heating operates on LPG and is thermostatically controlled to ensure a comfortable temperature.
Storage: Ample overhead cupboard storage, space under seats at rear of vehicle and along wall and hanging wardrobe. The vehicle also has a boot which is accessible from the exterior.
Skylights: One in the roof of living area. Ensure this is closed when driving.
Fly screens: Placed on all windows in the living area of vehicle.
Flooring: Easy to care for non-slip vinyl.
Internal access: Internal access between driver's cab and living area.
Exterior access: Side door with pull out doorstep. Ensure this is pushed in when driving

EQUIPMENT SUPPLIED
Sleeping: duvets, mattress protectors, sheets, pillows, pillowcases, blankets, sleeping bags. The quantity of bedding supplied will be based on the number of people travelling, for example if there are two adults then there would be bedding for one double bed. If you require any additional bedding then please let us know.
Bath: bath towels, face cloths, hand towels, bath mat. There is one bath towel and face cloth suppled per person.
Cooking: pots, frypan, kettle, electric jug, toaster, grater, cooking utensils, mixing bowls, tea towels, dishwashing liquid, gas lighter, bottle opener, can opener, kitchen knives, chopping board.
Tableware: dinner plates, desert plates, mugs, cutlery, salad bowls.
Cleaning: buckets, washing powder, pegs, clothesline, broom, hose, brush and shovel, waste bin, toilet chemical, hand soap.
Outdoor furniture: 4 folding chairs and table.
Sun Awning: Fiamma wind out awning fitted to the passenger side of the motorhome.
General Equipment: Buckets, Fire extinguisher, Fresh water hose, waste hose.

• Standard Insurance is included in the above rates for comprehensive cover with a $2,500.00 excess.
• Premium Insurance is NZ$25.00 per day (including GST) for comprehensive cover with a $250.00 excess, and includes windscreen and tyre cover.
• Drivers must be 25 years or older.
• 24 hour roadside breakdown assistance.
• Seven days minimum rental.
• Special discount rates available for hires 21 days or more.
• Quotes are given for long-term hire.
